T20 World Cup 2024: Australia and India will be part of Group 1 of the Super 8 stage, while South Africa and West Indies will be in Group 2 of the Super 8 stage of the T20 World Cup 2024.
The Super 8 stage of the T20 World Cup 2024 will begin on June 19 and the race for the top spots is getting tight as four teams have already made it to the next stage. Australia and India will be part of Group 1 of the Super 8 stage, while South Africa and West Indies will be in Group 2 of the Super 8 stage of the T20 World Cup 2024.
Some teams in the group stage are very close to entering the Super 8 stage, while some have to rely on the performance of other teams to work in their favour.
Teams With Good Chances of Reaching Super 8
Well, if we look at the group wise, in Group A, India has already made it to the Super 8, while America is very close to becoming the second qualifier as they just have to beat Ireland and looking at their performance against Pakistan and India, they have a chance to qualify. There is every possibility of victory. After the big upset against America, Pakistan will also have to defeat Ireland and then pray that Ireland beats America so that it can have a chance in the Super 8. Otherwise their T20 World Cup season will be over.

Group C matters are also settled as West Indies have already qualified and Afghanistan looks to be the next team to enter the Super 8 stage. Teams like New Zealand, Uganda and Papua New Guinea have no chance of matching Afghanistan’s 4 points and they still have one match left.
Matters have become interesting again in Group D as South Africa are already in the Super 8, and Netherlands and Bangladesh are fighting for that spot. Both teams will play against each other tonight, and whoever wins will likely enter the next stage of the T20 World Cup 2024.
