After this, they started fast as Phil Salt (45) and captain Jos Buttler (39) made a blazing start of 82 runs in seven overs.
Harry Brook ended the game with a six off fast bowler Haris Rauf, the best of Pakistan’s attack, taking 3-38 as England won at 158-6 with three overs remaining.
