Ace India javelin thrower Annu Rani’s best performance is a national record, which came in May 2022. She was the first Indian to reach the women’s javelin throw final at the 2019 World Athletics Championships in Doha.
Ace India javelin thrower Annu Rani will compete in the women’s qualifiers at the Paris Olympics on Wednesday. The final of the event will be held on Saturday, August 10, but qualifying for the showdown will not be easy for the Indian athlete. She is ranked No. 22 in the world, and will need to punch above her weight to qualify for the final.
Annu Rani’s best performance is a national record, which came in May 2022. She qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics on the world rankings, missing the Olympic qualification mark.
Unfortunately, Annu Rani finished 29th out of 30 players in the qualifiers, the last player to not score a single point.
Annu Rani’s season’s best throw is 60.68m, which she recorded at the athletics meet in Germany in May. Her personal best was 63.82m.
